Rullerton Mews in Wallasey is on the market for £1,200,000.An entire Wallasey street has come on the market for the same price you’d pay for a flat in parts of London. The row of eight mews houses are all on the market with Hunters estate agents for £1,200,000 – which would buy you a one bedroom flat on London’s South Bank.Rullerton Mews is made up of new build houses, each boasting two bedrooms and two bathrooms in a pint sized property offering. The listing, shared on property website Zoopla , also includes three apartments, all located close to Central Park.
Hunters’ online listing suggests whoever takes on this vacant Wallasey street could be looking at a potential return of nearly £80,000 a year. The properties are laid out with an open plan living and dining area, separate fitted kitchen, one double bedroom upstairs and a second bedroom with ensuite on the top floor.
Photos uploaded to Zoopla offer a glimpse inside the partially unfinished properties, with the kitchens in place but bits of flooring still to be completed. The modern properties are painted in a neutral colour scheme, ready for any tenants to move in and put their own stamp on things.
While the £1,200,000 price tag is well out of the price range of most house hunters on Merseyside , it’s astounding how much you can get for your money compared to elsewhere in the country.
A quick search of Zoopla within the same price range shows that £1,200,000 could get you a one bedroom flat on the South Bank, or a two bedroom flat in Chelsea Bridge.
